Cadillac Escalade 2008

More space! That is what Cadillac Escalade 2008 is all about. Everything from the glove box to the arrangements of seating has been fashioned to give the massive SUV an even more impressive presence. The Escalade now has space for up to eight passengers, and leg room for front and rear passengers has increased. The vehicle’s power fold and tumble second row seats ensures easy access to the third row, while allowing one handed push button operation.

Meanwhile, the cargo space, which has been increased by 65 liters behind the third row seats, is also versatile, ranging from useful 478 liters up to a cavernous 3085 liters depending on the number of seats in use. New options for the Escalade include a power assisted rear tailgate, rear parking assist function, triple zone climate control and power adjustable front seats with two positions drive seat memory. The sport luxury models have additional standard features such as a power tilt slide glass sunroof, cooled front row seats, fully integrated touch screen DVD and rear view camera.

The new SUV is powered by an aluminum Vortec 6.2litre engine which gives up to 403bhp and torque of 565Nm at 4300 rpm. The car also features a six speed automatic transmission with drive shift control that offers clutchless sequential manual shifting.
