Maserati to make Brabus blush

Maserati announced the MC Sport Line customization programme for its road cars, influenced by the company’s racing heritage and its latest accomplishment in the FIA GT championship in Argentina.

A series of new MC Sport Line options is for the customers who want to showcase racing oriented styling on their Maseratis with the pack’s extensive use of carbon fiber.

The model chosen to present GranTurismo S, but the personalization programme will be extended to include the entire Maserati line-up over the course of 2009. Owners can customize the exterior and interior as well as the technical aspects of the car by tuning the aerodynamic properties with the addition of front and rear carbon-fiber spoiler and side skirts with the central panel finished in matt black. Other additions include carbon-fiber mirror housings, door handles, sills and panels, dashboard and central tunnel. Even the steering wheel and paddle shifters are made from carbon fiber.

The car’s stance is emphasized by black 20 inch wheels, while the suspension gets stiffer springs, shock absorbers and anti-roll bars, lowering the car by 10mm.
