New GT-R imports to Europe worry Nissan

Nissan GT=R 2009

Nissan is having tough time because of the availability of grey imports of its hotly anticipated GT-R super car in certain European markets ahead of its 2009 launch date. Nissan has threatened businesses with legal action for selling vehicles intended only for sale in Japan. Gary Frigo from Nissan UK said: “The illegal import trade of Nissan GT-R warrants immediate action. Until 2009 the UK will have no GT-R trained technicians, no established GT-R parts supply and the GT-R will not be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.” This will let GT-R fans to think one more time before buying their dream car.
