Maserati is going to lunch its new granturismo in the 9th Middle East international Motor show (14-18 November 2007). The outstanding GranTurismo is designed by Pininfarina. This car has a Ferrari-sourced 4.2 litre V8 engine block that gives 405Bhp and 460Nm of torque. This Maserati has automatic six speed ZF gearbox with an adaptive control system. This system adjusts the gear shifting mode to the driving style and the driving conditions through steering mounted paddle shifters.
Maserati GranTurismo seems to be a new street rocket! It goes from 0 to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds. The car top speed is 285km/h. The mechanical architecture options for the Middle East markets will be slightly different depending to individual tastes unlike US and European markets where the options are same.
