The Future of Electric Cars

Car Electric car 450.377 The Future of Electric Cars

What the future holds for electric cars is not uncertain considering the great strides the said cars have made so far. The only uncertainty may be in our expectations of how far they would have reached by then but not that they will almost be the only cars driven in as close as 10 years to come. And this is especially because the electric cars consume less fuel as compared to the current fuel guzzling vehicles.

In fact consider the following car facts: the world has it is today has slightly above 800 million cars. 70 million cars are manufactured by Honda, Toyota and Suzuki among the many others every year.  If the Asiatic nations of India and China get new cars like the European nations then by the year 2035 the world will have slightly above 3 billion cars. Now 3 billion cars using fuel to power them will be a Herculean task even for the oil rich Saudi Arabia, in fact considering that the oil depots are getting depleted. If you have been following the train of thought then you must begin to appreciate the fact that the future solely belongs to electric cars.

Certain factors will come into play in determining the future of electric cars and some of these factors are the simplicity in monitoring and maintaining the emissions of the cars. Cost of the cars, the multiplicity of sources of energy, ease of use, thermal efficacy and efficiency and other factors will ensure that the motor world future is sealed. Again bearing in mind that the governments of developed world like the USA and Germany are already looking at legislation that will aid electric cars development, the future for these cars is very bright; and this may well be the understatement of the year.
